Introduction

Twoodle Co care very much about your privacy, believe in transparency and are committed to being clear about the privacy and data collection practices used.  This includes how your personal information is used and protected in accordance with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations).

This Privacy Policy describes how and when Twoodle Co collect, use, and share information when you purchase an item, contact Twoodle Co, or otherwise use services through the Twoodle Co website.  This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that Twoodle Co do not own or control.

Information Twoodle Co Collects

To fulfil your order, you must provide certain information, such as your name, email address, postal address, payment information, and the details of the product that you’re ordering.  You may also choose to provide additional personal information (for a customisation, for example), if you contact me directly.  Information provided used to process orders will not be used for the purposes of marketing.

Why Twoodle Co Needs Your Information and How it is Used

There are a number of legal reasons why Twoodle Co collect, use, and share your information, including:

To provide services, such as when using your information to fulfil your order, to investigate complaints, or to provide customer care and support.

When you have provided your consent, which you may revoke at any time, such as by signing up for the mailing list or sample pack mail out.

If necessary to comply with a legal obligation or court order or in connection with a legal claim, such as retaining information about your purchases as required by tax law.

As necessary for the purpose of legitimate interests, if those legitimate interests are not overridden by your rights or interests, such as providing and improving my services, additional or changes to product care information and product re-calls.  I use your information to provide the services you requested and in my legitimate interest to improve my services.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

Protecting information about customers is important to Twoodle Co.  Your personal information may be shared for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows:

Service providers. Twoodle Co engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services, such as delivery companies.  Your personal information will be shared with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these services.  For example, to deliver your order.

All PayPal transactions are subject to the PayPal Privacy Policy

All direct card transactions are subject to the Stripe Privacy Policy

In order to offer you Klarna’s payment methods, we might in the checkout pass your personal data in the form of contact and order details to Klarna, in order for Klarna to assess whether you qualify for their payment methods and to tailor those payment methods for you. Your personal data transferred is processed in line with Klarna’s own privacy notice.

All deliveries are subject to the Royal Mail Privacy Policy

Business Transfers

If Twoodle Co is sold or merged with another business, your information may be disclosed as part of that transaction, but only to the extent permitted by law.

Compliance With Laws

Twoodle Co may collect, use, retain, and share your information if there is a good faith belief that it is reasonably necessary to: (a) respond to legal process or to government requests; (b) enforce my agreements, terms and policies; (c) prevent, investigate, and address fraud and other illegal activity, security, or technical issues; or (d) protect the rights, property, and safety of my customers, or others.

Data Retention

Twoodle Co retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide you with the service you require and as described in the Privacy Policy.  However, Twoodle Co may also be required to retain this information to comply with legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce my agreements.  Twoodle Co generally keep your data for the following time periods: 4 years.

Right to Access

Under the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations), you can enact your right to find out all data Twoodle Co holds about you.  Simply contact info@twoodleco.co.uk and you will be contacted directly.

Right to be Forgotten

Under the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations), you can enact your right to be forgotten.  Simply contact info@twoodleco.co.uk and with in 30 days, all data held about you will be permanently deleted.  This excludes data with need to be kept for the purposes of Twoodle Co fulfilling any legal obligations, sure as for tax purposes.

Transfers of Personal Information Outside the EU

Twoodle Co may store and process your information through third-party hosting services in the US and other jurisdictions.  As a result, your personal information may be transferred to a jurisdiction with different data protection and government surveillance laws than your jurisdiction.  If Twoodle Co are deemed to transfer information about you outside of the EU, Privacy Shield is relied on as the legal basis for the transfer, as used by all Twoodle Co platforms, WordPress and MailChimp are EU Privacy Shield certified.

The Twoodle Co website contains links to other websites deemed to be safe.  However, please note that Twoodle Co have no control of websites outside the Twoodle Co domain.  If you provide information to a website, which Twoodle Co is linked, Twoodle Co are not responsible for the protection and privacy of this data.

Facebook Pixel
Facebook Pixel is a tracking code that helps Twoodle Co measure the ROI (return on investment) of Facebook Ads, by creating reports on the actions people take after viewing those ads.  Pixels are created that track conversions, add them to the pages of the website, where the conversions will happen and then track the conversions back to ads that are running on Facebook.  No personal information is contained in or collected as a result of using these cookies or pixels.  Please Click Here to help you opt out of any remarketing pixels and technologies.

Your Rights

If you reside in certain territories, including the EU, you have a number of rights in relation to your personal information.  While some of these rights apply generally, certain rights apply only in certain limited cases.  There rights are described below:

Access: You may have the right to access and receive a copy of the personal information Twoodle Co hold about you by contacting Twoodle Co using the contact information below.

Change, restrict, delete: You may also have rights to change, restrict the use of, or delete your personal information.  Absent exceptional circumstances (like where Twoodle Co is required to store data for legal reasons) Twoodle Co will generally delete your personal information upon request.

Object: You can object to (i) the processing of some of your information based on legitimate interests and (ii) receiving marketing messages from Twoodle Co after providing your express consent to receive them.  In such cases, Twoodle Co will delete your personal information unless having compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or if it is needed for legal reasons.

Complain: If you reside in the EU and wish to raise a concern about Twoodle Co’s use of your information (and without prejudice to any other rights you may have), you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.
